Bedugul’s nature beauty and abundant terraced rice paddies bordered by lush forests offer breathtaking views of central bali.
The focus point of the area centers on the three crater lakes of Bratan (Beratan), Buyan and Tamblingan, and the nearby botanical gardens. The whole area is at an altitude of 700 meters or more, with the tallest mountain peaks above 2,000 meters. Morning and evening temperatures are comfortably cool. While in the area, there is a must see list of locations, starting with the Botanical Garden in Candikuning. Jatiluwih rice terraces, the Munduk waterfall and of course the main temple on Bratan lake. There are so many things to do in Bedugul, you will want to make a second trip.
